Sometimes caregivers need some down time and time with friends trust me life gets crazy so we find any even little thing to take a breath this was my 1st ever roller derby game with my lovely friend Liberty Luna honestly would totally go again ❤️

Hey did you even realize the day you and your administration set to cut the DDA budgets was also the 1st day of disability pride month lots of us lost staff because of the cuts that suddenly went back into place but sorry damage is done hope at the federal level they see it a deny your cuts its hard enough to find good reliable staff as it is and then when we find it government wants to take it away because oh they make too much hope you never need nursing care then our group is the only one you could end up a part of any given time short or long term my sister even said don't mess with DDA funding at a pride event because guess what everyone wants to cut us first feel free to stop by and see what really happens day to day and i should be a 2 to 1 in the community but nope don't even get that we should not have to fight to get our supports but we do every year and it's not like our care plans change that much least i know mine doesn't

While we are waiting to see about pay rate change we have been having fun

While caregiver can be stressful especially when its plan renew time (if you're with self directive services you know ;) ) it can also be fun we took this rainy day and hit up the movies and all I gotta say is it would've been cool if the 4D set up had it so the wheelchair people could experience the experience eve if its just the air and water effects 😉

You never know where we will end up what started out as a yard work day ended with a impromptu trip down town for some lunch and fresh air
