Hi, I’m Kardeen. Licensed Esthetician, LPN, and the hands and heart behind Rx Beauty!

I’ve been a nurse for over 11 years and an esthetician for more than 4. I started Rx Beauty while I was still in school, and officially opened my doors in February 2021 after passing my boards!

But the journey really began when my own skin needed healing.

During COVID, wearing medical-grade masks every day left my skin inflamed and breaking out in ways I had never experienced. Even the so-called sensitive skin masks didn’t help. The products I always trusted stopped working. I had to relearn my skin. I had to find a new way to heal it.

And that experience changed everything

Now I get to serve others through customized, corrective skincare that brings your skin back to balance and your confidence back to life. I don’t just offer facials. I offer restoration. Because your glow has always been there. We just help bring it forward.

This goes for all skin types, even oily skin!

If you have a dry skin type you should be staying clear of any foaming cleanser as it is too drying for your skin.

But for my oily/combo skin types foaming cleansers are good to help remove sebum, constant use of a foaming cleanser can make your skin feel dry, tight and sometimes flaky. The average person usually has surface dryness, a foaming cleanser will only make this worse.

Instead try incorporating other products such as toners, retinols and serums to combat oily skin!!
