Not because of the venue or the details, but because my daughter got to be by my side for the very first time, watching what I love to do. She saw the behind-the-scenes, celebrated alongside me, and made memories I’ll never forget.
I’m so thankful we got to celebrate Kara and her new husband today. What a beautiful beginning to their forever.
As the song says, “I just want to slow down.” Today reminded me to do exactly that. To pause, soak in the little moments, and appreciate the gift of sharing them with my daughter. These are the memories that matter most.
