I need a volunteer.
I have a vivid technique that I want to try out.

I would be doing one section, in the shape of a triangle. Probably in the back near your nape, or maybe right behind an ear. About a 4x4 sized section, basically an extra large peek a boo. It will be “candy” rainbow colors (see pic).

I will have to bleach for this. Your hair must be no darker than medium brown. Ideally I am looking for virgin hair, but if your hair is colored with my hair-color that might work depending on color history.
Your hair must be at least about 8 inches long and have layers- or you have to let me cut in layers.
You must be an established client.
You must be available during a week day.
Any other requested or needed services rendered on this day (including a haircut) would be regular price. The vivid section and style (curls) will be free of charge. You do NOT have to make a purchase this day to be eligible.
Appointment would probably be at the end of April or first half of May. Earlier if I have time.
Hit me up!

UPDATED 2/27
Man, isn’t the work/life balance dance something or what?
For the first time in a long time I feel like I have achieved some balance in my work schedule. I’m working shorter shifts more often and actually finding openings here and there on a semi-weekly basis. I love it! Being booked to the gills has never felt good to me even though that is sometimes required to pay my bills.
However, my own sanity is more important and I am feeling good about the balance of hours and openings that I have.
The only thing missing is figuring out what to do with my Saturdays and evenings. Currently, I am working Wednesday and Friday evenings and 3 Saturdays a month. I would like to get to where I’m only working one evening a week and every other Saturday.

I don’t know if this is a realistic expectation or not, but I hope that at some point in the next couple of years I can get to that place.

Anyway, I still want to publish some openings that I have coming up in the next couple of weeks. I won’t be upset if they don’t get filled; having that breathing room has been so nice. But, I would be remiss if I wasn’t letting those that don’t pre-book know what I have open.

Tuesday, March 3rd at 1:30pm I have an hour.
Thursday, March 12th at 11:30 I have 30min.
Tuesday, March 17th at 2:30pm I have an hour.

Comment below or PM me if interested in a time! Thanks, beautiful people.

Working a random Monday night, cause it happens!
Anyone need a haircut? I’ve got an hour at 6:30pm!

Good morning beautiful clients!
Musical appointments 2026 continues!
I have an opening for preferably a color Tuesday, Feb 17th at 10:30am. This is a 2.5 hour slot, so not all types color services will fit here, a root touch up, all over color on level or going darker or a partial highlight would all work well.
I’m also open to booking cuts, styles, deep conditioning treatments and waxes during this time if a color client doesn’t book by the end of the day on Saturday.

I specifically have open time for cuts, styles, and waxes on Thursday the 19th at noon and 2:15. Message or comment below to book!
Thanks and have a magical day!

Good afternoon beautiful clients!
Have we all had a happy January? A happy start to the new year? I sure hope so.

I wouldn’t say that my start of the new year has been unhappy, but it certainly has been uncharacteristically eventful. I have had no January lull that I have come to expect over the years; which is a double edged sword. On one hand, I am super busy and that’s a good thing. It keeps my bills paid and me in business. But on the other hand, I didn’t get the slow down period that helps me reset to take on a new year.

I want to clarify before I get into this post, that I am not here to shame or come across as complaining. Really I am here to praise you all for your excellent communication over the last five weeks. I have had a crazy number of cancellations and reschedules since the last week of December. I have talked about this being a problem many times over the years. Typically, when I make a post or a video about this it is because the cancellations or reschedules have come at such short notice that I am unable to fill that time, resulting in a sometimes significant loss of income.

That has not been the case this go around!

Everyone that has had to cancel or reschedule for any reason has done so many days or even weeks in advance! I genuinely and truly am so grateful for you all taking the time to be aware and considerate of both your own and my time. I know that it is not always easy to know what we are going to be up to, days, weeks or even months in advance.
In fact, the only person that has had to make any last-minute cancellations or reschedules is MYSELF!

There are a few things that allow me to keep my prices low; one of those things is good communication between myself and clients about appointments and enforcing a strong cancellation policy. I hate enforcing that cancellation policy, I hate it. So sometimes, I don’t- to my detriment. People don’t come back to me because of it once in a while. But, it’s a necessary part of making my business sustainable and keeping prices low. I’m sure none of you want to pay higher prices so that I don’t have to charge a late cancellation/no show fee right?

Anyway, I did not have to charge one cancellation fee from any of those appointments due to the consideration and diligence of you lovely people. I was able to fill those appointments thanks to the lead time, resulting in me not having the January lull, the double edged sword that it is.

Thanks again guys, for everything.
