Better Body Thermography IS COMING BACK! Mark your calendars for September 14th!

Thermography is a non-invasive, radiation-free imaging tool that gives us a window into how your body is functioning beneath the surface. It is FDA-cleared as an adjunctive screening tool to aid in the detection of breast abnormalities, including breast cancer.

We use a state of the art digital infrared camera and take a heat map of the body. There is no pain, no contact and no radiation.

Thermography can also help identify:

✨ Breast Health including estrogen concerns

✨ Inflammation and areas of stress in the body

✨ Circulatory and lymphatic congestion

✨ Hormonal imbalances

✨ Nervous system dysregulation

✨ Musculoskeletal issues and chronic pain patterns

✨ Thyroid concerns and pathologies

✨ Dental and sinus correlation

✨ Digestion and organ stress

It’s all about connecting the dots before the body has to shout.

Now imagine pairing that insight with the healing power of massage…
💆‍♀️ Supporting circulation + lymphatic flow
💆‍♀️ Reducing tension and inflammation
💆‍♀️ Helping the body reset and restore

Together, it’s a powerful approach to proactive, whole-body wellness insight & healing in one space.

Thermography is for women, pregnant and nursing women, those with implants, men and children making it truly effective for everyone!

Have a tumor that’s benign, or malignant? Did you know that you need a doctors note to get cleared for massage if you have either or?

If you have a known tumor, or even if you’re currently being evaluated for one, it’s generally a good idea to get medical clearance from your doctor before receiving massage therapy services.

A doctor’s note helps the massage therapist understand whether:

* Massage is safe at this time.
* Certain areas should be avoided.
* Pressure should be modified.
* Any special precautions are needed.

Having a tumor does not automatically mean you can’t receive massage. In many cases, massage can still be beneficial for reducing stress, pain, and muscle tension. The therapist may simply need to adapt the session based on your doctor’s recommendations and your specific condition.

If you have tumor I just simply avoid the area where the tumor is (same thing with a cyst) and just do the session as normal.

All you need to do is just get a doctors note for clearance. This is why you need to inform your massage therapist of ANY medical changes to avoid last minute cancellations and fees that may occur.

Self-care is important because it helps you take care of both your mind and body. When life gets stressful, it’s easy to ignore your own needs while focusing on everything else. Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary! When you make your well being a priority, you’re better able to handle stress, stay focused, and show up for the people around you.

Self-care doesn’t have to be anything complicated. It can be as simple as getting enough sleep, eating healthy meals, staying hydrated, taking a walk, or spending a few quiet minutes doing something you enjoy……or a massage! These small habits can improve your mood, boost your energy, and help you feel more balanced. Over time, making self-care part of your daily routine can help prevent burnout and support your overall physical and mental health.

During my two weeks off I took such self care steps! It was absolutely needed and I actually healed from a lot of trauma without knowing it! One big change I made was walking! I am now within one week a total of 20 miles walked so far! For me that’s a major accomplishment! When you accomplish goals on your own you truly heal and love yourself more.

You cannot love others if you do not love yourself first.

The tibialis posterior is one of the most important muscles you’ve probably never heard of. Hidden deep beneath the calf muscles, it may not get much attention, but it’s working hard every time you stand, walk, or run.

This muscle starts along the back of your shin and smaller lower leg bone, then travels behind the inside of your ankle before attaching to several bones in the middle of your foot. That unique path allows it to do much more than simply move your foot, it helps support your arch and keeps your foot stable with every step you take.

The tibialis posterior helps point your toes downward and turn your foot inward, but its biggest job is acting like a built-in support system for your arch. Every time your foot hits the ground, this muscle helps control your movement and creates a strong, stable base so you can walk, climb stairs, exercise, and stay balanced.

Because it’s constantly working behind the scenes, this muscle can become strained or fatigued, especially in people who spend long hours on their feet, run regularly, or have flat feet. When it’s not functioning well, the arch can begin to collapse, causing the foot to roll inward and placing extra stress on the ankles, knees, hips, and even the lower back.

It may be out of sight, but the tibialis posterior plays a huge role in how you move. It’s a great reminder that some of the body’s hardest-working muscles are the ones we rarely notice, until they start causing problems.
