Brands I have ordered from in the past have not been able to tell me if they were ethically sourced or not. It was never a topic talked about, or advertised on their website. I have confirmation now that companies I’ve ordered from in the past were using Chinese hair. This makes my skin crawl now looking back wondering if the donors were ever minors or apart of a human trafficking scheme. It’s heart breaking because this certainly is a lucrative industry, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that. People will take advantage of this, and take advantage of children. 💔 Your company should always👏🏼always👏🏼ALWAYS👏🏼 be able to tell you where the hair is sourced from, and how it’s sourced!

If the company can’t tell you this that means that they are probably a private label that doesn’t know because they don’t manufacture their own hair. This is extremely concerning for reasons I could talk about all day long. Luckily does manufacture their own ethically sourced hair! ✨

We even have 65 private labels under us, and we want them to know the ins and outs in turn gaining the trust of their clients and other stylists purchasing from them. Simply put, you should know everything about what you’re buying, and you should trust what you’re putting on yours or your client’s head. 🙏🏼
