🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride! Last week we did a a Korean Lash Lift and brow wax on this cutie! This week we added a brow lamination with tint!! Loving the combined results! 🫶 lash and brow services aren’t just for the girls and g**s, they are for everyone! There are many variations including more masculine styling of every service I offer!

POV: Your client comes back and her lash lift curled too tight 😬 Here’s exactly what I did to fix it and what I think went wrong in the first place.

What likely caused it:
➡️ Rod size was too small for her natural lash length. Even though I had already sized up
➡️ Processing time wasn’t adjusted enough for her fine, fragile lash texture
➡️ Solution may have been left on too long in step 1. I was already removing from the tips sooner than the rest of the lash for this client, but I could have probably pulled it 1-2 minutes sooner
➡️ I had just opened a fresh bottle, which may have been more potent than the one I’d been finishing off meaning processing time needed more adjusting than usual

How I corrected it:
✅ Reapplied step one from mid-shaft to tips, maintaining the lift at the base we had already created
✅ Paid close attention to each individual lash as it processed, removing solution from lashes that were processing faster than others
✅ Used a lash lift helper instead of placing back onto a shield this made the most sense here. The lashes had already been processed and were more fragile, so yanking them back on a shield wasn’t necessary when the only goal was to relax the tips
✅ Applied a nourishing treatment (or “vitamin sauce” as some of my clients call it 😄) and sent her home with some to use as well

She left with a soft, natural curl instead of a crunchy loop 🙌

The truth? This is WHY troubleshooting skills matter just as much as the technique itself.
