Our methods work on ALL hair types, so whether you like 'em wild and crazy or tamed and tidy or somewhere in the middle we want to help you achieve the dreadlocks of your dreams. Our #1 priority is making sure that you have the knowledge, skills, and support to acquire the dreadlocks/braids you've always wanted whether that means us working on your hair first-hand or not!!! We love answering questions and passing on what our experience and learning has taught us so please feel free to e-mail/message us with ANY questions you may have. 😬 I got quiet again... Life has been crazy. I have been doing my best to use the open time in my schedule to explore other sources of income PLUS my book (about Finnish folk magic) comes out 11/10! I've been creating and scheduling in-person classes related to my book, creating art and crafting to put together a web shop for my Finnish-mythology inspired creations, working on a second book, planning a research project related to said second book, trying to get dreadlocks rolling again, AND on top of all that -- I got a tattoo apprenticeship! (At under the gracious tutelage of ) 🎨
🗓️ So, I'm making some changes to my schedule to accommodate that as it has been a dream for 20+ years to get into tattooing and magically the stars aligned just right to finally allow it to happen. In spite of some fewer available hours I still have a TON of openings for last minute maintenance before Halloween and Thanksgiving. DM me LOCS to grab one! 💜

💜 These lovely locks were started by DREADLOCK COTTAGE (Heather) and it was my honor to spruce them up. With add-ins and filler, things DO grow out and occasionally (1-2x a year, approximately) may need some extra love to stay looking full and fresh. ✨

✨ Custom Gray Blending MAGIC 🪄 Sometimes clients want juuust enough length that they'll be able to pull their dreadlocks back. They don't need to be down to their butt to be beautiful! This was an amazing challenge and I had so much fun creating this head of locks. I would love the opportunity to do more sets like this! 👑

🤔 Is it too niche to post memes describing what it's been like about coming back to work at home for myself as a dreadlock artist, amateur folklorist, folk artist, and occult author after an ill-fated attempt to rejoin the "real" world of employment???

The magic hands are ready. May my booked schedule rise to meet them. 🙏🏻🪄 I had a lot of fun putting together these little promo kits. This might honestly be the most money I've ever invested into a marketing campaign for my business. In it's history, I have been able to rely on free promotional methods -- social media, Craigslist (really showing my age there 😬), but hard times call for hard measures!
