To anyone that view my page. Hair is fragile so however you chose to wear it take care of it. My suggestion is wigs maybe safer than weave. At least you can take it off everyday. Hair in the kinky state is just as fragile. You may not see it shedding but you lose it by breaking it in comb or brush. Growth may be very slow or not at all because it has very little life span to grow. However relaxers are not the boogey man you make it out to be. All chemicals should be done by a professional just my personal belief. And if you have one do what most of us did before YouTube, or even Dudley go sacrifice and find someone that does hair care and not a foo foo style trying to live in this make believe world that you see on videos and television. That's all an illusion.

Haven't written anything in a while because it's hard to explain to people that what they are doing to the hair they were born with is harmful. Yes I am a hairstylist and want to make money but my first priority is for the health of the hair. I was given a mandate by the one who gave me this gift. Somethings I cannot do because it not good for the hair. It started in my sisters basement when I realized I couldn't do the hard hair(scrunches,gel up bun,plastered down hair with fake ponytail on back etc). Not because I couldn't do them and also the tight braids,glue,or sewn in hair was also off limit to me. I took the class to do great lengths strand by strand which would be good but most of us doesnt want to pay the price so I don't offer it either. I am writing this because if you have your hair you were born with the worst thing for it is braids, glue or sewn in hair. If you want to wear any styles whether kinky, flat iron, relaxed bleached, colored, pressed and curled or permanent wave etc. My professional suggestion is don't be a SLave to fashion. Protect your mane,crowning glory because once it's gone it's gone. There is nothing like a woman with the hair she was born with. And for God sake keep it neat.
