🎭 Winston-Salem is taking center stage!
The National Black Theatre Festival is back, and if you’ve never experienced it, now’s the time. Every two years, artists, performers, storytellers, and theater lovers from around the world gather right here in Winston-Salem for what’s become the largest international Black theater festival in the world. It’s a week filled with incredible productions, live performances, music, workshops, vendors, and enough creative energy to fill the whole city.

So naturally we had to create something special. ✨

A blueberry shaken espresso topped with our dreamy house-made ube cold foam. Smooth, bold, a little unexpected, and absolutely beautiful.

💜 Purple Spotlight
A lavender & butterfly pea infused lemonade refresher crafted with ’s Amethyst Tea. Floral, refreshing, vibrant, and just the right amount of magical. Finished with edible flowers because, of course.

Iced Tea of the Week - Mystic Dragon 🐉🍃

If you’ve been here for any amount of time, you know I have a soft spot for a really beautiful green tea and Mystic Dragon has become one of those teas I find myself reaching for when I want a traditional and yummy green tea.

It’s a blend of Japanese Sencha and Chinese Dragonwell, two legendary green teas that somehow come together into something incredibly smooth, bright, and almost buttery. Delicate, fresh, and just a little floral.

Green tea has been enjoyed for centuries for good reason. Naturally rich in antioxidants, it’s often loved for supporting focus, gentle energy, metabolism, and overall wellness, without the crash that coffee can sometimes bring.

I especially love this one iced on our hot summer afternoons. It’s crisp, refreshing, and feels like drinking a little bit of calm.

The Fig Affair is rich fig, dark roast espresso, chocolatey, and all the cozy, luxurious energy of a dessert disguised as a latte. Then we make it with Ripple milk (Pea Protein and oh soo good good) which somehow manages to be impossibly creamy while only having 1 carb and 8 grams of protein. Compare that to the 30-ish carbs hiding in a lot of oat milks and it feels a little like magic.
