I STOLE these pictures from our client’s stories. I had to.

He kept showing off his backyard. If it was a beautiful dawn with the sun rising, there it was on his Instagram. If it was a beautiful sunset, there was his pool on his stories.

I was proud and jealous at the same time. Man, this guy knows how to take good pictures.

I needed to post them, but I was embarrassed to ask. So I straight up shot him a DM: “I stole your photos to post on our Instagram.” He laughed and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll take some for you guys.”

A few hours later, he sent them over — and here they are.

He’s proud of his pool, we’re proud of being the ones who built it, and now we can all show off together.

“Now I can send my grandchildren a picture; they have no idea yet.”

That’s what we heard from Mr. Shannon when his pool got the final touch with synthetic turf around the deck on that sunny Saturday.

Mr. Shannon is a retired widower, and all he cared about was having his grandchildren come from Virginia to spend the summer with him in Florida.

But he felt like he didn’t have anything fun for them, living in a small home by himself — and that’s why he decided to get a pool.

So now he’s fired up to have his family come down and have the best time with him next summer.
