Whew, 7 years of Eye Blink Beautifully. 7 years of full-time lashes. 7 years of creating art, healing through beauty, sharing joy and laughter, experiencing tears and pain, building friendships, and feeling love. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude as I reflect on this milestone so let’s get vulnerable and let me tell you how this journey has been a testament to the strength and resilience I’ve built along the way. It’s been filled with happiness and passion, but also plenty of trials and tough times as I balanced personal life and health. There were moments when I second-guessed myself and doubted my path, but my willingness to show up, no matter what, has brought me to this moment.
I’ve come to realize that no one is coming to save me. It’s up to us to create the life we want for ourselves and take action to make it happen. Especially when facing adversity, we have to keep going. And when it gets tough, we pray and trust in the abilities that our Heavenly Father has given us.
To be honest, I’ve never truly celebrated any anniversaries or milestones before. I was always looking ahead, striving for more. But today, I’m taking a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate how far I’ve come. I’ve learned, I’ve grown, and I’ve built something that my younger self would be incredibly proud of. I’d think I’m so cool and fabulous. I’d look up to me. My Shaylaaa 🥹
