Jovi is 13 months old today and tonight he walked for the first time! ❤️🥰

🎂 ❤️On November 5th my little man turned 1, we had such a wonderful celebration with family- I will post all those photos separately. Jovi is almost walking, he’s standing up on his own and holding onto all the furniture to walk (the sticky note in his photo next him says “almost” 😆). He waves, and says hi and bye to people, he is mimicking things that we do, he has gotten a bunch of words under his belt - doggy, kitty, neigh neigh (horse) ,hi, dada,momma, Annie,no. He has been taking swimming lessons for a couple months and can hold his breath under the water. He is giving kisses on the cheek to his family, he is picking up his fork and putting food in his mouth -he’s got more practicing to do but he’s got the concept down. He has almost learned how to open his baby gate, he’s working on lifting the latch to open 😆 😩.
He loves play time, and loves looking at books but he is most interested in the screws, latches, and buckles that hold his toys together.
Of course, he loves his dog and cat, he loves to sit by Lucy and pet her and laugh at her walking around. He giggles when the doggies kiss him and bump into his walker.
He is matching shapes and animals to their name - so far he can tell the difference between a cow and a horse, he can put the circle, triangle, and square into the correct shape hole. This guy loves music 🎶 any time this song comes on you can find him rocking back-and-forth, trying to grab daddy’s guitar or banging on the piano. He’s so cuddly and snuggly, he’s happy to lay down with me any time for a cuddle nap.
Every day he amazes me and every day I can’t believe I’m so lucky to have this amazing little boy. ❤️
