Justin Queen At Collage Salon
Give your hair the treatment it deserves! With over 20 years of experience, Justin Queen is a season
ATTENTION TO ALL MY HAIR CLIENTS!!!
As many of you start to plan your appointments out for the rest of the year I need to let everyone know about a new policy I am implementing for November and December. If you cancel an appointment during these two months without providing a minimum of 2 weeks notice I will be charging a 100% cancellation fee. These months are incredibly busy and as you all know I am a one man show. Last year I lost roughly $2000 in income in these two months to people canceling at the last minute and that’s a hit I can no longer afford to take. Please don’t book too far ahead if you aren’t certain that you can honor these appointments, I know it’s only an hour or two of your time but it’s how I earn a living and hairstylists don’t get paid when there’s no one in our chair.

Have you had trouble finding hand sanitizer lately? As I've started to open the salon back up I decided it would be a good idea to offer one more place to buy it! Pick some up when you stop in for a haircut!

It's been nothing short of fantastic to be able to be back in the salon and seeing all of you again! Really looking forward to getting to see even more of you this week!

NEW COVID-19 GUIDELINES!
Starting Friday May 15th, I am able to re-open and can't wait to see you! With that said, there are a few major points that we need to follow to make this work!
1. I am allowed ONLY 1 person in my salon at a time. The only exception is a minor or someone with a care taker.
2. There is no waiting room! You must text me when you arrive (614-420-0415) and I will instruct you when to enter!
3. You must schedule ALL services needed. I am running on tight time appointments and can't alot extra time in your appointment at the moment.
4. Feel Sick? Stay Home! Let's stop the spread and look good while we do it!

HELLO CLIENTS AND FRIENDS!!!!!
It’s official, I will be reopening on Friday May 15th!!! My books are open and a link will be provided at the end of this post to my online scheduling service. There are a few things you all need to know so please read this post in it’s entirety before you book an appointment!
1. I can only have one client in the salon at a time. This means you can not bring your kids, friends, spouse or anyone else with you to your appointment. There are 2 exceptions to this rule. If you are bringing a child who is a minor you can accompany them, elderly and disabled persons may have a care taker accompany them as well.
2. There is no more waiting room. When you arrive at the salon for your scheduled appointment time you must text me to tell me you are there and then wait for me to respond to you to say you are clear to come in. Again, all hairstylists state wide are allowed to have one client at a time in the salon.
3. If you don’t book appropriately for the services you need I will not be able to squeeze anything extra in and there will be no exceptions to this. Also if you arrive late to an appointment you may be asked to leave with wet hair, if you are more than 15 minutes late you will be asked to reschedule. I have to have time to sanitize my work space between every client and I simply will not rush that process.
4. If you are sick in any way, shape or form please do not come in. My health is my livelihood and my number 1 priority is to keep you, your families, myself and my family healthy and safe. I will temp check myself everyday and if I temp at 99.9 or above I will be staying home.
5. I have been forced to cancel all of my clients appointments in the last 8 weeks. If you have a regular appointment set up please try and stick to what we already have set up. If you can’t do that, I understand please text me and let me know so I can set up a new series of appointments for you. Everyone else please try to use the online service to schedule. If you can’t use the online service please text me and I’ll get you set up.
Lastly I am not only following what our state board of cosmetology has required of me to do to reopen, I am going above and beyond both behind the scenes and visibly to ensure your safety and my own. I can’t wait to see all of you!!!!! I’ve missed you more than you know❤️. —Justin

To all of my clients,
As per the governors order I have no choice but to cancel all appointments until further notice. Words can’t express how much I appreciate each and every one of you and how disappointed I am that this is what things have come to. I fully intend to come back to work the second our governor gives our industry the ok to do so. Thank you to all of you who have supported me over the years, I’m not going anywhere and I look forward to seeing you all sooner than later. Take care of yourselves and if you’re feeling lonely, bored, happy or sad feel free to pick up the phone and call me, I have lots of free time starting right now. If any of you can’t afford services when the shop reopens due to work stoppages message me and I promise you I’ll take care of you either way.
-Justin
Hello clients and friends. I just wanted to give everyone an update on how my salon business will be operating during these crazy and uncertain times. First things first, I am still open at collage on Sunday’s, Monday’s and Thursday’s. As of now I am on a leave of absence from modern male as I have to be able to take care of my son while my wife does her job. To all of my modern male clients I apologize for the inconvenience, I will be back as soon as I can be. During my time at Collage I am wiping down my entire room with 90% alcohol between every client as recommended by the CDC and as always practicing good hand washing practices and use hand sanitizer before and after every service as well as always sanitizing all of my implements as required by the state board of cosmetology. I have started taking my temperature every morning and afternoon and if it is above 99° I will be staying home. If you want to cancel your appointments please know I completely understand and respect your decision. Thank you for all of your years of support and take care of yourselves. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
Edit: if the governor decides that salons must close their doors as well I will of course comply but I sincerely hope it doesn’t come to that as I have a little girl on the way and she will probably bankrupt me anyway. God bless ❤️
