So freeze dryers have a valve you must open to release the pressure that builds when the machine is freeze drying products. Once that process is over the freeze dryer asks if you would like it to defrost or no defrost. No defrost is just letting the temperature of the room melt the ice. Well silly me forgot to open the valve which not only releases pressure but also makes it so the freeze dryer can drain the melted ice that it has accumulated from a batch of freeze dried goodies. 🤦‍♀️ We live and we learn. lol 🤭

😭 No freeze dried candied jalapeños
I had a 9 hr day at work and even though the freeze dryer keeps the jalapeños really cold the temperature change was too much and because they are candied it caused them to go stale very quickly. I can not sell them unfortunately. It stinks but it happens. I will definitely be running another batch this weekend so they can be ready for the week. I am very bummed. 😔 I will have freeze dried ranch pickles I will be dropping off in Sharon at the Cliodhna Body Co. Shop.

Oh my my my these are absolutely delicious!!! They are airy and light with a crisp texture that almost melts in your mouth. 🤤🍬

🤩Today's freeze-dried menu features a popular summer favorite! I always associate saltwater taffy with the beach. I remember going to the beach as a kid and picking out a few pieces in a variety of flavors from the shops near where we stayed.
