Hi Everyone! Just wanted to give everyone a quick update! My vision has improved some, I am still alittle blurry and cloudy but it has gotten better than when this all started! I have follow ups this week! I will be working, I might have to move some people around still ( some i havent rescheduled due to what I feel I can and cannot do) I have not been using my app for reminders, so don’t be alarmed if you didn’t get a text. I also am still not driving sooo my car won’t be in the parking lot. Thank you all again for your calls, texts, rides to work and patience and as I’ve had to move some of you more than once! 🩷

This is long sorry! It’s easier to just copy and paste wha I’m texting.
I woke up with a migraine Monday took an imitrex, got a coffee went to work pretty normal. Mid-day the migraine was mostly gone but I noticed my eyes hurt and sensitive to light. By the evening they were bloodshot and hurt worse. I just went to bed to rest them. Tuesday I woke up and couldn’t open them.. at all. Just the tiniest bit to walk. They were goopy( not like pink eye), burning, painful, blurry, and sensitive to light. I just showed up to my optometrist he worked me in and spent over 4 hrs there. He ran all the tests, looked in them, did all the things, even phoned a colleague. He was stumped every test came back normal. They mentioned waiting24-48hrs, which I was fine with or the ED maybe for an mri or something else.
Once Mike got home we went to the ED to spend 6hrs there, more drops, more lights, tests, and bloodwork. She said she didn’t feel she could do much since I had already been to my eye Dr but would give it her best. She treated with meds to help the pain. She named what she thought it was but for me to see an ophthalmologist the next day. I woke up Wednesday slightly better and can open them enough to function but can’t focus real well, still blurry, feels like something is in them.
Saw the ophthalmologist this afternoon and… I have inflammation with scaring in the front of the eye in both eyes. causes are unknown and usually never find out why, bad news is it usually is reoccurring. The scarring could go away or not. He said it could be something bigger like autoimmune but not jumping to that just yet. It can take weeks to go away or not. I have two eye drops to put in every hour and have to go back in 2 weeks.
Thanks again to all my clients for being so flexible!! It might be a day by day as to how my vision is as to if I’m working that day! I will be in Touch with you all frequently to keep you updated.
