Petite Miss contestant, Annabelle Diaz is the 8 year old daughter of Kimberlee Strickland & Paul Diaz of Beaumont. When asked why she wanted to be a rodeo queen, Annabelle said..."I would like to be a Hesperia wranglers title holder because I like to ride horses, and have always dreamt of becoming a rodeo queen. I would like to be a role model to other kids who want to be a rodeo queen, as another rodeo queen inspired me. I would like to represent the Hesperia wranglers, as my mom has shared many of her childhood memories with me when she rode for Hesperia wranglers, and ran for Petite rodeo queen. Which is the division I am running for. I feel from my knowledge, that has been shared with me and seeing for myself Hesperia wranglers, the committee and the community, are a great group of people I would have the honor to represent."
