My personal experience: when it comes to lash serums I have always experienced one or two side effects 🥺 #1. A darkened lash line, (the ingredient “Prostaglandin” is what makes results FAST but also messes with the pigmentation around our eye area). And #2. Stinging and irritation. I know we’ve all accidentally gotten a serum in our eye and it’s never fun 🥲 but when I tell you I apply this on my upper AND lower lash line and don’t experience any stinging?!

This past weekend learning the “Opal Free” system with lash apothecary, literally blew my mind 🌱 As a lash artist of 6 years I’m embarrassed of myself and for our industry, with how little much we know about ocular safety and traditional adhesives.

This class gave me my spark back, it filled me with so much knowledge and education in just 3 days. This new technology with an acrylate free, plant based adhesive with a reaction rate less than .01. I can confidently say this will be the only option in my treatment room moving forward, because it SHOULD be the only option.
