A combination of highlights and lowlights creates seamless dimension while allowing her natural white hair to become part of the overall colour. This approach softens the regrowth line and creates a beautifully blended result, with depth, brightness and natural movement throughout the hair.

Let’s talk about toners, or technically, semi permanent colour.

A semi permanent colour works by sitting more softly within the hair rather than fully penetrating it like permanent colour. It is ideal for tonal balancing, adding shine and condition, softening unwanted warmth, or temporarily deepening the hair without creating a hard regrowth line.

For this client, the existing blonde was too yellow and did not complement her skin tone, making redness in the complexion appear stronger. We decided to bring the root area back closer to her natural colour and blend that into a softer, slightly lighter blonde through the ends.

To keep brightness around the face, we added a clean face frame highlight in a brighter neutral blonde that worked beautifully with the final beige toned result.

One of the best things about toners is their flexibility. They gradually fade over time and can be refreshed or adjusted depending on the tone you want to see, whether cooler, warmer, softer, richer or brighter. The key is having a light enough base for the tone to reflect properly.

Màu semi permanent hoạt động bằng cách bám nhẹ hơn trên tóc thay vì thẩm thấu hoàn toàn như màu permanent. Đây là lựa chọn lý tưởng để cân bằng sắc tố, tăng độ bóng và mềm mượt cho tóc, làm dịu những tông màu không mong muốn hoặc làm tóc trầm hơn tạm thời mà không tạo đường chân tóc rõ rệt khi màu phai.

Với khách hàng này, nền blonde trước đó quá vàng và không phù hợp với tông da, khiến da mặt trông đỏ hơn. Chúng tôi quyết định đưa phần chân tóc trở lại gần với màu tóc tự nhiên hơn và blend dần xuống phần ngọn với sắc blonde mềm và sáng hơn nhẹ nhàng.

Để giữ độ sáng quanh khuôn mặt, chúng tôi thêm face frame highlight với tông blonde neutral sáng và sạch hơn, phù hợp với tổng thể beige tone cuối cùng.

Một trong những điểm tuyệt vời nhất của toner là sự linh hoạt. Màu sẽ phai dần theo thời gian và có thể điều chỉnh hoặc làm mới tuỳ theo sắc độ bạn muốn — lạnh hơn, ấm hơn, mềm hơn, đậm hơn hoặc sáng hơn. Điều quan trọng là nền tóc cần đủ sáng để sắc tố có thể thể hiện đúng tông màu mong muốn.
