Facing Inwards

Shadow gives our world shape… the ocean (like our emotional state, like us) offers a reflective surface for whatever the current conditions and saturation of light. However shadow gives shape to form and depth, without it we remain 2D. We have been lulled into this false sense of security in accepting monotone, grey, ambivalence and flatness. Perhaps in an effort to feel less pain and discomfort we have inevitably avoided the reasons we experience it. We are here to love in spite of, despite of and because of the way it makes us feel, the full spectrum of emotion.
I love the science of my work around light therapy (LED and IPL/BBL) and my understanding of the human body and its capacity for receiving light (love in this metaphor) is akin to that of the ocean. We absorb light! We then filter and scatter that light, our bodies our a natural shadow for modulation. Modulation is a necessity and without it light BURNS!
We shape and metabolise the beauty and brightness by feeling it all! And feeling it all is the what, why and how in healing it all.
Fear will stop you before you start but truth and trusting the process will set you free. Your willingness to embrace your darkest shadow will increase your scope to receive and recognise your brightest light and LOVE 🤍✨🤍✨🤍
