We're well rested and ready to get back to refilling! We'll have all of our usual refill products, along with our protein mixes… which, if you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out!

We will not be at Bismarck Farmers Market or Sunday Social Market 🛍️👩‍🌾🌃 this week 😔 I have not been feeling good at all and have been taken this time to rest!

We’ll be stocking inventory so we can come back strong next week! We may start doing Veggie Van with the Strengthen ND so stay tuned for some updates

Our pumpkins are flowering! 🌼🎃 But here's the twist, we're not growing them for the pumpkins. We're growing them for the flowers.

If you've never had crispy squash blossom fritters or authentic quesadillas de flor de calabaza, you're about to discover what you've been missing. These delicate blossoms are a seasonal favorite and only available for a short time,so turn on your notifications they’ll probably be our first harvest of the season !

Okay, let me rant for a second... sigh 😮‍💨

Our one-year anniversary since starting Burrow & Bloom is coming up, and while it's exciting... it's also a little bittersweet.

When we first started, the vision was simple: create a little farmstand where you could stop by, refill your laundry detergent, grab your protein powder, and pick up fresh produce all in one place. A closed-loop, low-waste way of shopping.

We're getting there.

The household goods are here, and the refillery is growing! But refill shopping is still something new in our area, so this first year has been just as much about education as it has been about selling products. And honestly, that's okay.

Our biggest hiccup? 😅

Land/storefront space! Our property is hard to find, the side street GPS directions are inaccurate, it's not zoned for it, and more; so no permanent space

Not to mention

We left for California right in the middle of seedling season. We hired someone to care for our plants... and every single seedling died except for about 5–7 plants.

Talk about having to pivot.
wow... the first year of agriculture is HARD.

To every single one of you who has come back to refill your jars, supported us at markets, shared our posts, or simply believed in this little dream—thank you. It means more than you know.

Please don't be afraid to leave us a review or send us recommendations. We genuinely listen. If you notice our product lineup changing, it's not because we've forgotten our original products—it's because we're learning what our community loves while staying true to our mission.

Every refill, every purchase, every market day...

It's all funding something much bigger.

One day, we hope to have our own land, a permanent farmstand, and eventually open a culinary farm school where people can learn how to grow food, raise animals, cook from scratch, and reconnect with where their food comes from.

We're not there yet.

But we're almost one year closer. 🌱🤍
