Are you full of GUILT?
You know what I mean when you want to do something for yourself but then feel like it's too much money and you put it off.. or will take that same amount of money that you wanted to spend on yourself and spend it on someone else instead, without batting an eye?
Yeah we are one in the same.
I use to do this all the time.
Until I realized I was actually neglecting myself. I always put myself last and started to fall apart... I would look in the mirror and always say - "I am going to do something about that soon"... or "I really would love to have this"... but never took action.
I want to tell you right here and now that taking care of your self is ESSENTIAL to your happiness and can NOT be put on the back burner for another day. How can you make anyone else happy if you are NOT.
I want to encourage you today even if you start small - just start with a "self-care" list. Write down all the little (and big) things that you want.. be selfish and make it all about you. Heck write a few in the comments below - I would love to read them
