Menopause Muse helps women understand menopause and help better manage their symptoms Hello, gorgeous!

Buckle up, because you’re about to embark on a wild ride called menopause. Yes, that’s right—The Big M, the grand hormonal finale, the ultimate plot twist in womanhood’s great saga. This isn’t just some run-of-the-mill life stage; it’s an adventure full of surprises, some cheeky laughs, and maybe the occasional urge to throw a shoe at someone (it’s okay, we’ve all been there). Now, if you’ve stumb

"What happens in your body if you start eating first thing in the morning, and could it help you sleep better at night?

YES.

Front-loading calories earlier in the day and avoiding large late-evening intake, especially near bedtime, and making sure you eat enough for your activity and life (!!) improves overall sleep efficiency, fragmentation, and timing. But if low energy availability is present (e.g. not eating enough!) then we see shorter sleep duration, more nocturnal awakenings and impaired recovery, which may compromise performance and health.

Debunking Menopause Myths

Menopause does not make you lose your intelligence — and birth control doesn’t “pause” menopause either.

💭 Myth: Menopause causes a permanent drop in intelligence
🌿 Fact: Any brain fog you feel is usually temporary. Your ability to learn, think, create, and problem-solve is still very much intact.

This phase isn’t a decline — it’s a transition. And your mind? Still powerful, capable, and evolving. 💫

Hormonal shifts can momentarily affect focus or memory, but they do not define your capability or brilliance. In fact, many women step into menopause with deeper wisdom, sharper intuition, and a stronger sense of self than ever before.

🔥 You are not declining — you are evolving.

Save this as a reminder on the days you doubt yourself.

"High cortisol doesn't always look dramatic. It often shows up as feeling unusually irritable, snapping over small things, or having everyday inconveniences feel completely overwhelming.

Your body needs a signal that it is safe again, and one of the fastest ways to do that is through simple, refreshing movement - like a walk, stretching, or getting outside.

You don't need intensity, you need regulation. When your nervous system is overloaded, even minor stressors can feel like MOUNTAINS. And one of the worst things you can do in that moment is stay stuck there, mentally spiralling and feeding the stress response.

Easy ways to help lower cortisol:
•Go for a walk or do gentle movement
• Get morning sunlight exposure
•Prioritize protein, fiber, and blood sugar stability
•Practice breathwork or nervous system
regulation tools
•Reduce caffeine when overly stressed
•Support sleep and consistent bedtime rhythms
•Spend time in nature or grounding outdoors

Sometimes the most powerful fat loss and hormone healing strategy is simply helping your body feel safe enough to stop running from danger."

"So many women have been told that estrogen is dangerous, but the evidence doesn't support that narrative. estrogen_matters to revisit the research behind estrogen, including the Women's Health Initiative, and what it actually showed.

We discuss how the findings were misinterpreted, how the messaging spread, and why it has never been fully corrected. In this week's episode, I'm joined again by We also talk about the roles of estrogen in the body, from brain function and bone health to heart disease risk, and why so many women are still being denied treatment with estrogen despite the data.

This episode is about understanding the evidence
clearly, so you can make informed decisions about
your own hormonal health."

"The inflammation you can't feel is doing the most damage.

Estrogen was your anti inflammatory shield. When it drops, pro-inflammatory markers spike and anti-inflammatory markers fall.
Double hit. This "invisible fire" connects weight gain, brain fog, gut issues, joint pain, and skin aging. All of it."

"Menopause is not just about symptoms. It is about your cardiovascular future.

Estrogen is a vasodilator. It increases nitric oxide, improves blood flow, and supports the coronary arteries that feed the heart muscle. When we look at women within 10 years of menopause, we see
reductions in cardiovascular disease and heart attacks.

This is not theoretical.
This is measurable.
The real issue is outdated thinking.

Hormone therapy is not just symptom management. It is a discussion about prevention, bone health, and healthspan.

Adaptogenic herbs like ashwagandha and maca have been used for centuries to help the body adapt to stress — supporting cortisol levels, boosting energy, and gently bringing hormones back into harmony.

In a world that constantly demands more from you, these plant-powered remedies work with your body, not against it ✨

Think of them as nature’s way of saying: you don’t have to run on empty.

" This was a popular question
in .chmielewski recent live stream on B+ as a lot of people think HRT is just something you have to help you "get through" menopause and control symptoms.

But that's only part of the picture. Our hormones progesterone, estradiol and testosterone are involved in how your brain functions, how your bones stay strong, how your heart and blood vessels work, even how your muscles and joints repair and recover.

When levels drop, it's not just symptoms that change, it's the whole system. So if you have low hormones then you can take HRT if you don't have symptoms as it will help you to restore hormone levels in a way that improves your future health."
