𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 with Ruɓing alcohol

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟏 :Get your hands on some rubbing alcohol. You can use 50% isopropyl alcohol or 91% rubbing alcohol. The 50% alcohol will not remove the glue as easily as the 91%, but both will work. People often choose the 50% alcohol over the more potent alcohol because of how fragile lace tends to be.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟐 : Get set up in a room that has good ventilation. Alcohol can irritate your nasal passages your choice. Ensure that the entire cotton ball is soaked in the alcohol.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟒: Turn your wig inside out to access the glue-covered lace.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟓: Begin wiping the glue away with a cotton ball use a quick circular motion. It’s important to use gentle pressure, as the alcohol itself will dissolve the glue. Focus on one spot at a time and be careful not to pull at the lace. After wiping at the lace for a minute, turn the cotton ball and continue wiping.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟔 : After a while, you’ll see the glue come off the lace and transfer to the cotton ball.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝟔 : Proceed with your regular lace front washing and conditioning routine.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐠

1. 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 (very important!) 🔥
Always brush your wig before washing. Start from the ends going up ,don’t go straight to water with a tangled wig

2. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫💧
Hot water can damage the hair and make it dry. Keep it cool to warm, never hot.

3. 𝐁𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠
Don’t rub or scrub like clothes 😭
Use a downward motion to keep the hair smooth and tangle-free.

4. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬

Go for sulfate-free shampoo and a good conditioner to keep the wig soft and healthy.

5. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠

Apply conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes. This helps bring the wig back to life 😍

6. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠
Squeezing harshly = tangles + damage. Just gently press out the water.
Bonus tip 😉
If the wig is too tangled or damaged… don’t struggle 😭 bring it to professionals.
