I’m Lana Pienaar, my work is inspired by my childhood memories of red lipstick and how fabulous it made me feel. Not much has changed since…
I soon realised that everyone has a need for ‘that lipstick’ and so the colourful world began to take shape.
My inner voice pushed me to somehow find a way to amalgamate my passion for art and people. My journey kicked off with a bang 19 years ago in the magical film industry, doing SFX make -up, building props, body painting and beauty make-up for various TV shows, films and editorials.
The various experiences eventually let me to inspiring, teaching and sharing my knowledge on various platforms with fellow artists and people alike. This was not a choice, but the passion within, demanding! Nothing is more precious to me than the beautiful budding of confidence in personalities armed with a little knowledge and ‘that lipstick’.
