Your lymphatic system is your body’s natural cleansing and healing network. It flows just beneath your skin, carrying away toxins, waste, and excess fluid — helping your body stay balanced, healthy, and radiant.
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic technique that stimulates lymph flow, supporting your body’s natural detox and healing process.

Post-operative Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage technique designed to support healing after surgery.
It helps move lymph fluid away from swollen areas, reduces discomfort, and promotes faster recovery.
After Orthopedic or reconstructive surgery the body naturally produces swelling, inflammation, and trapped fluid in the tissues.
When lymph flow slows down, recovery can take longer and may cause hardness, tenderness, or uneven results.
MLD helps by:
✅ Stimulating lymphatic circulation
✅ Reducing swelling (edema) and bruising
✅ Softening scar tissue and preventing fibrosis
✅ Easing pain and tension
✅ Supporting immune and tissue healing

If you have a broken hand (fracture), manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) can sometimes be used carefully, but there are important precautions:
After a fracture, swelling (edema) is common around the injured hand and fingers.
Gentle lymphatic drainage can help reduce swelling, improve mobility, and support healing once your doctor confirms the bone is stable.
MLD is especially useful if you’re in a cast or after the cast is removed and swelling persists.
Important to remember: Do not attempt MLD on your broken hand without medical clearance. It’s safest to have it done by a trained lymphatic therapist or physiotherapist familiar with fractures.
