Two years ago, I had a vision.

A vision to create a Beauty Academy that would empower aspiring beauty professionals through quality education, practical experience, and genuine mentorship.

The journey, however, wasn’t easy.

There were opportunities that didn’t materialize due to unforeseen challenges at a previous premises. I moved into a new space believing it was the right time, but the timing still wasn’t aligned. I explored partnerships, hoping they would help bring the vision to life, but sometimes not everything works out the way we plan.

Many times it would have been easier to give up.

But when God places a purpose in your heart, it doesn’t disappear simply because the journey becomes difficult.

Today, after years of setbacks, lessons, growth, and perseverance, I am finally stepping forward and launching Chanice & Chicks Beauty Academy.

While we are still working toward accreditation, I have made the decision not to allow another year to pass waiting for the “perfect” moment. I have the passion, the industry experience, the knowledge, and most importantly, the desire to educate, uplift, and equip others with the skills they need to succeed.

This academy was built on the belief that proper education changes lives, creates opportunities, and builds confidence.

If there is one lesson I hope you take from my journey, it is this:

Do not give up on your dreams simply because the road becomes difficult. Delays are not denials. Obstacles are not the end of your story. Keep showing up, keep believing, and keep building. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think. 🤍
