Lip Neutralization / Lip Lightening treatment with Nicole is a unique and gradual process that works to both even-out lip tone as well as slightly brighten naturally darker lips. This procedure is aimed to neutralize or create an even-tone across both top and bottom lip for a consistent lip tone. Whether the top and bottom lip differ in shade, or if the lip entirely needs to be brightened, Nicole takes the time to gradually counterbalance dual lip tones and bring the lips to the desired shade.

This procedure requires a working knowledge in color theory and experience in layering techniques — as the neutralizing lip color is layered and applied over a few sessions. This procedure essentially corrects skin undertones and counteracts them with complementary colors in order to neutralize the lip tone. Typically during the first lip neutralization / lip lightening session, Nicole will counteract cool undertones (i.e., blue, purple) with warm-based pigments to lift the darkness of the lips and arrive at a neutralized tone. We choose this technique since it yields the most natural and long-lasting results.

Dark lip micropigmentation is suitable for any client looking to enhance and level-out their lip tone and is a popular treatment for both men and women. Typically the treatment requires 3+ sessions and the healing process may appear orange-toned and flakey for 7 days following treatment.
