Not all skin treatments are one-size-fits-all. That's exactly why we want to be upfront with you. π€
Our photofacial treatment uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, which works by delivering targeted pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin. This energy is absorbed by pigment and vascular irregularities, stimulating collagen production and fading discolouration over time.
The science is well-established and IPL has been clinically used for decades to treat:
πΉ Sun damage & age spots
πΉ Redness & rosacea
πΉ Uneven skin tone
πΉ Fine lines and early signs of ageing
Important: This treatment is suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types 1β2 only (very fair to fair skin tones). IPL works best on lighter skin where there's a greater contrast between the pigment being targeted and the surrounding skin, which makes it safer and more effective for these skin types.
Not sure where you fall on the Fitzpatrick scale? Book a consultation via the link in our bio and we'll help you figure it out before you book. π¬
