Hypertension is known as the silent killer. Usually only showing symptoms once it's dangerously high. Most people are unaware that they have hypertension leading to them only finding out once complications arise ( heart attack/ stroke/heart failure/kidney failure). Everyone should have their blood pressure checked at least once a year especially after the age of 30.
