Late emergency appointment. Foot injury during sports practice. We used alternatives to needles as patient said the area was too sore and he was anxious. We iced the foot, then sprayed with Yunan Baiyao and applied infra red light therapy. Although we are always keen to needle the patient because of its effectiveness, we need to be respectful of the patients emotional state and sometimes find alternatives within TCM which can be equally as effective.

Monday feels...💫 post facial - needles in, LED therapy to further encourage collagen production and healing after extractions. And then.... post needle glow and bliss ✨💁‍♀️

Cosmetic acupuncture 😬I get asked frequently if it’s painful. Honestly it’s not. There is minor sensation as the needle goes in but it’s comfortable. The needles for facial acupuncture is small and very thin. But very powerful! Facial acupuncture stimulates collagen growth in the skin, helping plump out skin and decrease wrinkles and fine lines and treat acne scarring. LED therapy is also used while the needles are in to further accelerate the healing and collagen stimulation so we tackle skin issues from all sides. We end the session with gua sha to drain any puffiness from the face and leave your skin looking radiant, toned and lifted.💁‍♀️✨
