Did you know that not all oils are sealing oils?

Depending on the chemical structure of an oil it will either be a penetrating oil that is absorbed into the hair shaft or a sealing oil that forms a protective film on the hair strands.

Oils such as olive oil and coconut oil are penetrating oils whereas oils such as shea butter and Jamaican black castor oil are sealing oils that form a protective layer on the hair strand to allow for softer more manageable hair.

Use the ANIM Shea Butter with Jamaican Black Castor oil to seal in the moisture from from water and leave in conditioners applied to the hair strands and protect the hair strands from damage.
