My makeup and hairstyling for Jessica-Ambel Barnard's wedding got showcased in the couple's insert on Insider SA. I know her from way back when we worked on a shoot for Ilan together. She loved the dewy glow I did for that shoot and contacted me to recreate it for wedding this year. We paired the dewy skin with a soft glam eye with the emphasis on her lashes, peachy brush and a n**e pink glossy lip. The perfect compliment to her old Hollywood glam minimalist wedding gown.

My beautiful bride, Lindsay Burrow ready for .0, the big celebration she was supposed to have 2 years ago just as pandemic lockdown hit. This is the third time I've done makeup and hair for her and, as always, I think I had more fun than she did 🤭

Hi fellow makeup addicts. I've been MIA for a while due to dealing with the fallout from the current pandemic - cancelled or postponed bookings, reduction in TV work, my other business merging with a colleague's, mental fatigue, etc. I think the past 2 years have been rough for everyone.

I then had surgery on my shoulder which restricted me considerably. I was off work completely for 6 weeks and have been allowed back at both jobs on light duty, which in my makeup business means I'm not allowed to lift up my kit. I've only just returned to weddings and shoots with an assistant to do all the lifting. It's been a slow start, but I'm getting there. I'm still attending physio rehab so I can achieve my highest level of function, so this means I'm slower at everything than I usually am. My creativity has also been sapped by mental fatigue from this pandemic - my other job has me in the thick of things. For now it's unlikely that I'll be able to post as regularly as I did before, but I will try and get into some kind of rhythm once work on both sides settles a bit.
