🚫 Avoid waxing, peels, or treatments that make skin photosensitive
🚫 Avoid actives like retinol, strong Vitamin C, AHAs & BHAs
On the day
✔️ Keep skincare simple and protective
✔️ Apply sunscreen before leaving
✔️ If reapplying is difficult, a spray sunscreen is a practical option.
After Kavady
🧊 Cool rinse or cold water cleanse
🧴 Use a calming or cooling mask if you have one
🚫 Avoid strong products — let the skin settle
The next day
❄️ Use cold spoons or cold tools, especially if you struggle with hyperpigmentation
🔥 Heat is one of the biggest triggers for pigmentation
