Lady of the Herbs
I'm a certified herbalist, representing our indigenous medicinal botanicals of South Africa.
Soak up the beautiful amber, tannin-rich waters of the Garden Route. 🌿
This intermittent river winds its way along the medicinal garden and eventually drops as a 30m Waterfall into the Kaaimans River, carrying the story of the forests and fynbos it flows through.
Even when its flow slows down, it continues to nourish the landscape and support life.
Water cleanses, restores, and connects us, to nature, to each other, and perhaps even to ourselves. It has a way of calming the mind and restoring the soul.
Take a deep breath.
Listen.
And let the river do what it has always done, heal…

Sometimes our most challenging times can teach us the most. Change brings new growth, strength and resilience.
Nature reminds us everyday that the sun will shine again, the birds will come out and flowers will bloom once the dust settles. Go with it.

As women, we move through cycles just as nature does. There are seasons of energy and seasons that ask us to slow down, rest, and listen a little more closely to our bodies. 🌾
While slowing down and experiencing some discomfort during menstruation is common, I don’t believe suffering should simply be accepted as “part of being a woman.”
Women have always turned to plants for support.
In my apothecary, I work with indigenous herbs such as Wild Mint, African Sage, Wild Rosemary, Carpet Geranium, and African Wormwood, plants that have long been valued in traditional herbal practice to support women during their monthly cycle.
These are the herbs I prepare in my Easy Me**es Tincture or as Individual Herbal Tinctures to work with your body.
If you’re looking for a more natural approach to supporting your cycle, I’d love to introduce you to these remarkable indigenous plants.
Every woman deserves to enjoy beautiful places, even on her period. 🌿

The African Potato may seem unassuming above ground, but beneath the soil lies a corm that has been valued as medicine for generations.
Traditionally, this ally has been used to support general wellbeing and vitality, and has long been respected as a plant that helps strengthen and restore the body.
African Potato is one of the indigenous medicinal plants I prepare as a tincture, allowing the plant’s beneficial compounds to be gently extracted and preserved.
It’s one of the indigenous plants I love introducing people to because it reminds us that some of nature’s greatest treasures are often hidden beneath the surface.
🌿 If this plant could speak, what do you think it would say?
