Growing up I use to believe that.
People living in Surbubs were rich and people who lived in rural areas were poor.
Poor people's kids went to public schools and rich peoples kids went to private schools.
Principals are richer than teachers and doctors are richer than nurses. People who drove nice cars are financially free etc.

Up until I started selling financial products.
I met with doctors who had cars and houses repossessed, School principals who had to take loans in order to make it to the next month. Parents whose kids school payments were always in arrears.
Guys who drove cars worth R2 million but always I mean always struggled with fuel money.

I learned that it's not about how much money you make or your job title. It's all about how much money you keep or invest and multiply.

I once had a friend who was very financially literate he drove a Jaguar. Had multiple property investments. He was richer than his senior lectures and drove a more expensive car. To an extent that they hated him.

It's not about standards. The truth is numbers don't lie. If you really need to take loans to cover your living expenses. It means you can't afford your living expenses. Your poor to me.

I'm not against people who live lavish lives.
I'm just advising people to be careful when they make financial decisions.

Study financial literatures.
Learn more about money.
Don't buy things to impress anyone only buy what you can afford.
Bad debt is slavery.

6. Managing instead of leading

7. Running a business like a hobby
- show up daily
- stop working only when you feel like

8. Not being coachable
- not willing to learn from others

- find 5 people in network marketing and follow them, whatever they do, do it, they don't have to know they're your mentor

10. Failing to develop others
- be a servant
- serve with love
- move the business from your head to your heart
- think of how you can help your downlines/team to grow
- don't think of your downlines as cashcows
- build relationships
