Allantoin

Meet Allantoin. While this ingredient doesn’t get the same level of attention, as hyaluronic acid, its however incorporated into many skin-care products. Allantoin is found in plants like chamomile, wheat sprouts, beet, and comfrey (a herb with purple flowers). It is also found in certain types of bacteria and animals. It has potent healing and soothing properties, and the comfrey leaves were used to help heal minor skin injuries and swelling.
