Right now, it’s all about texture! Sets have gone from perfectly symmetrical Russian Volume look, to ultra-fluffy, layered American Volume looks. Textured sets can range from wispy to mega voluminous – it’s all in the application. To create the most effective texture, artists combine curl types, diameters and length. The secret ingredient? Lash layering! This means applying the lashes row by row for a layered technique.

Blu Beaty's reusable silicone eye pads are ideal for the under eye area. They are thin and gentle on the skin and leave no residue.

They can also be combined with any eye serum as they support absorption of the serum, allowing you to give your clients a revitalising under-eye treatment while you lash!

Furthermore, they are easy to clean, just wash with soap and water, and allow them to dry.

Round Eyes | Artist Guide

Round eyes appear wide and open, with visible white around the iris. While naturally bright, excessive curl can make the eye look overly surprised. Structure and elongation are key.

Recommended Blu Beauty curls:
✔️ C Curl Tray – elongates and softens
✔️ CC Curl Tray – controlled lift without over-opening

💡 Artist tip: Concentrate longer lengths and lift on the outer third using C curls to visually stretch the eye into a more almond shape.

Monolid Eyes | Artist Guide

Monolid eyes lack a visible crease, resulting in a smooth lid surface. Because there is minimal natural definition, the lash curl must create structure, lift, and dimension.

Recommended Blu Beauty curls:
✔️ L Curl Tray – sharp lift from the base
✔️ LC Curl Tray – softer bend with volume and openness

💡 Artist tip: Use L or LC curls toward the outer lashes to form a subtle wing, enhancing width and eye definition.

This 2-piece lash-drying air blower is small, and convenient for use in speeding up the drying process of your lash adhesive, primer, bonder or other products applied to the lashes or eyebrows. It has a soft, silicone-material bulb that, when squeezed, releases a gentle stream of air onto the lashes, helping the solution to set faster.

We recommend this tool to all of our lash technicians to ensure that their extensions bond securely without smudging or clumping during the application process.
