Let's face it, natural hair can be hard to maintain and it's kinda intimidating. But once you get the hang of it, and I mean taking time to understand your hair, what it needs, what it loves and doesn't love, the outcome is priceless. You learn to love, appreciate and have a relationship with your hair, and It is a beautiful relationship ☺️

DIY Turmeric face mask tips:

Tip 1: Mix turmeric powder with oil (any skincare oil of your choice) and not water. Mixing it with water alone leaves stains on your skin. It might take you days to get rid of the stains.

Oils you can use: olive oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil.

Tip 2: rinse off with warm water. If there's a bit of yellow residue left, use a moisturising soap and gently wash your face. And that's it. Well, moisturise afterwards of course

Bonus: I like to add rice powder to the paste. It creates a perfect consistency plus the benefits of rice powder
