The last time I went out shopping with my face done.. My mask got completely messed up with make up.. So this time I focused on my eyes.. Just like birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and any other celebrations lockdown style.. So should be shopping.. It's an awesome opportunity to get a little dolled up..

I did this quick liner but discovered a beautiful eye colour for the first time using my two fav eye shadows, 'Texture' and 'A natural flirt'

Happy Anniversary for yesterday to my beautiful friend Lizelle Craye.. I had the honor of doing her make up and hair(I'm not a stylist) for her special day

I love this glossy lip.. Use a clear gloss and massage in with your favorite lipstick to create this look.. I used my white eye pencil on the bottom middle before appling more clear gloss to add an obre effect.... Gloss.. Bringing life to your face...

A pop of colour.. Change up your daily look with a pop of colour under the eye like my pics below, inner corners of the eye or just a touch on the lid.. Less is more if you don't usually use bright colours.. Always line the eye and add loads of Mascara to get the colour to pop...

My go to is natural beauty, but that doesn't mean I don't like playing with colour...

This look is inspired by sassy sirens...
It's not an easy look.. Some tips on this type of make up...

*Start with the basics
*Make sure you use quality tools
*Start with the eyes first before foundation..
*Don't under estimate your look u till you've added liner, mascara and lashes...
*Deposit the pigment eyeshadow on the lid well with a firm brush or finger before blending...

Products used:
Eyeshadows:Texture, Carbon, Moonlight blue pigment
Liner:Blacktrack
Lips: Lady Danger and clear gloss
Cheeks: Trace gold, soft and Gentle

Friday Feels.. Still learning some photo capturing techniques so my photos are real, but the colour isn't a deep as it is..

Brows Brows and Brows...

At the age of 14, one of my awesome sisters took me to get my brows done.. I was lucky cos the therapist was careful and only waxed out my stray hair.. Leaving me with full dark brows.. I was so excited.. But little did I know.. I needed to upkeep them.. So pocket money in hand.. Off I went to my local salon to get them done.. I remember so clearly, being handed the mirror only to find half my brows removed.. All I was left with was thin strips of hair above my eyes.. 😳
Least to say that was the last day I went on my own, and whilst my brows were growing back we were introduced to threading... Having very stubborn thick and deep follicles, threading was my heaven as each hair was removed and the skin left soft and clean.. That lady was a guru...

A short while after, my worst fear came true.. My sister moved away and I was left stranded without transport to my brow lady, and only with the local salon...
I tweezed my own brows, and went to numerous places to wax my upper lip.. Until I was taught by a relative to thread😊.. And at 15 my threading journey began..

I would thread my legs to practice first.. Yes that was terribly painful.. But once I learnt the technique.. My upper lip and brows were happy... I practiced and practiced and practiced and did threading only for myself and close friends for 4 years.. Until one day someone asked me to do theirs.. I was nervous, what if I did what was done to me.. Or worse.. But i took my time and did what I could.. And in the end.. It was all and only Happiness.. And here I am 12 years later.. I love how the brows are cleaned and defined by threading...

Below are a few photos on how YOU can clean up your brows during this lock down, leave the shaping to your professional, maybe this time of regrowth is the best thing for you.. But i do know that having a little clean up can do a world of good..
