MEET THE TEAM: CHARNE SMIT - DIETITIAN

Charnè a Registered Dietitian in private practice since 2011.
She has a passion to lead a healthy lifestyle, for herself and for her family. She enjoys consulting with people and helping them to become a better version of themselves.

Her special interest is to help people by giving them advice in nutrition therapy for their conditions or advice in needing to make lifestyle changes which would include healthy eating.
By being an expertise in healthy eating and weight management, her specialized interest is based on the management of lifestyle diseases.

MEET THE TEAM: DR NICK PETROPOULOS

Dr Nick Petropoulos’ practice focuses on patient centered, obesity medicine and preventative medicine. The practice has been running for over 10 years and is appointment based as to provide quality time and care to the patients. The ethos of his practice is to provide a holistic, comfortable and non-judgmental environment with high quality of care, embedded on the principles of evidence-based medicine.

The tech-driven doctor is a non-paper practice. Registering in the clinic can be done online or via an app. All notes and scripts are electronic.

Dr Nick Petropoulos special interest is in Weight Loss, Obesity Medicine and Cardio-Vascular Health. He has had many success stories through the numerous programs he runs. It has become a passion for him, as he is rewarded by his patients' amazing weight loss and improvement in health and cardiovascular outcomes.

Dr Petropoulos is one of two GPs at Mode de Vie.

MEET THE TEAM: DR NICOLE HUNT

Dr Nicole Hunt graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2010. After completing her 3 years of practical training at both Helen Joseph and Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospitals, she embarked on a career in Clinical research and served as Principal Investigator on 2 major HIV prevention trials.

She furthered her studies in 2015 and completed a Diploma in Child Health, and in 2016 after starting her own family she made the transition to Family Practice.

Dr Hunt is passionate about her work and optimizing the health of her patients, and has a keen interest in both Child and Women’s Health.

Dr Hunt is one of two GPs at Mode de Vie.

Nadene is our medical receptionist. She helps our GPs, Physiotherapist and Dietitian. 😊
She has been a part of our team at Mode De Vie since February 2019, and is dedicated to helping patients where ever she can.
