Our lives are shaped by the confessions of our mouths 🗣

Brother Kenneth Hagin says that if we find ourselves at the bottom of life’s ladder, it is because that is all we have believed for. But that when we talk and believe right, we will climb to the top. It is not enough to only believe a certain truth, our confessions must line up with that truth.

Job 22:28 says that you shall declare a thing and it shall be established for you. What are we declaring over ourselves, our marriages, our children, our finances, our health or other people? We need to check our hearts daily. What confessions have I let lose today? Do they line up with the Word? Do they give life? Are they full of faith? Or are they dead words full of poison that speaks only curses.

The faith confessions of Jesus were how he defeated the devil when He was being tempted (Matt 4). He didn't ask His Father to deliver Him from the devil, He knew He already had the truth on the inside of Him and that there is power in the Word of God - He just had to let it lose! Every temptation was destroyed by the Word of God and in the end the devil left Him. In James 4:7 the Bible says that we should submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

The Bible says that whatever your heart is full of your mouth will speak (Luke 6:45). Even doubt and fear is a form of faith. Doubt and fear does not come from God but if you believes thoughts full of faith and fear, they will rule over your life!

The scary question that I am asking myself is this: are my faith confessions resisting the enemy and making him flee from me or are they inviting him into my life and giving him access???

Yesterday I woke up with a sore/scratchy throat and the sniffles 🤧

I immediately put some Thieves on my thumb and pressed against my palate. Had some Thieves 🌱, Lemon 🍋 and Honey 🍯 tea 🍵 during the day and diffused a few drops 💦of Thieves 🌱during the night. I woke up this morning with no more sore throat or sniffles 👏🏻
