It's been a while..... as you all know I advertise by word of mouth. Best way, as the proof is satisfaction.Winter is upon us in the lowveld.

So often question...
Will the lice get less?
No not really, they just find a warm spot, head pillow duvettes or beanies and sit the cold out.

If you follow my recommendation to the word, your child will be lice free after the heated treatment as we dehydrated the eggs so they cannot hatch.

Lately I have being seeing a lot of super lice. They have become tougher and immune to chemical treatments. The eggs absorbed some of the chemicals, making it very difficult to kill.

Please be very aware of what chemicals you are putting on your child's head. Please understand that you can burn your child's scalp.

I cannot assist you if your child has open abrasions or sore scalp from chemical treatments.

As we going into examinations and school holidays please be visulant for itchy of your child's head, and all lice matter should be attended to sooner than later.

To help with this we are willing to do comb outs at R50 a session. Please note this excludes heat.
We just want to catch any infestation before it becomes a big problem for both your child, the school and yourself.

Please note you need to make appointments, and with loadshedding time is limited.

Hello all. This will be the first time The Lice Lady will close.

Parents who have follow up comb outs and follow up checks, these appointments will be re-scheduled for after the lockdown.

In the meantime follow my advice. Keep on with self combing. But most of all dont panic. Dont use chemicals or enzymes.

Just keep rinsing with fresh mint water.

After the lockdown we will assess and if we have to start from the begining of treatment we will free of charge.

This is tough days. Take care of each one.
Tumble dry duvettes and pillows.

But dont panic I am just a phone call away.

The Lice Lady will remain open to treat unwanted Head Lice.

As the salon is steralized after each treatment irrespective since day 1 of their opening this is one of the have to do's. And since day 1 of opening we do not take more than one head per appointment. No interaction with other people. And visits by appointment. Treatment in a contained area. We are confident we have met the criteria required pre covid19 outbreak.

The added requirements we have put in place is all entering the salon will be given a dollop of hand sanatizer on entry to salon.

We will ask additional question ...have you travelled or been in contact with any possible persons in quaratine or tested positive?
