We are pleased to announce Moroccan Barber SONPARK will open tomorrow at 08.00AM.

We are following strict healthy hygiene and safety protocols which have been developed by the industry and government to ensure the safety of both clients and staff. Therefore minimising the risk and exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

All clients entering our barbershop must wear a mask and keep the mask on while in the shop. Hand sanitiser will be provided upon entering. All clients wanting to enter will have their temperature taken on arrival and once more when leaving. A detailed register will be kept of every person entering and leaving. In the unfortunate event that a client’s temperature is above 37C degrees the individual should seek immediate medical attention and should start self-isolation. Our dedicated staff member will then also report this to the Department of Health and will take further direction from the Department.

All our staff members will wash their hands immediately as they arrive at work, as well as before and after every client. In addition to the face mask our staff will wear a face shield.
Our working tools are sterilised before and after each client, making special care and consideration to all health hygiene and safety protocols.

Social distancing requirements are met by having our workstations set up at least 1.5 meter apart. We have suspended the provision of all beverages and magazines have been removed. We encourage contactless payments.

We cannot stress this enough, please stay at home if you have any of the following symptoms

- Fever
- Dry cough
- Tiredness
- Sore throat
- Cold

Unfortunately we do not fall into phase 4 and therefore remain closed until further notice. We anticipate the day we can open our doors again and start grooming our clients!

Here's a little note to say that we miss greeting you at our entrance, serving you with coffee, while you wait to have your hair cut, and uncover the best version of you! We hope to welcome you soon again in our home. Please remain safe and healthy during this time.

We all have to be strong during this time and support each other where possible

High standards have always been part of Moroccan Barber Sonpark, but in times like these we have increased these standards to meet those set out by CDC and SANHD.

Our Covid-19 practices that ensure minimal risk at Moroccan Barber Sonpark:

Practices since the opening of Moroccan Barber and increased practices following COVID-19:
- Each team member works with gloves
- New razors are used for each client
- All equipment is being sanitized before use
- Cash and change is required to be put down on the desk, in order to avoid direct contact
- Chairs are being cleaned with disinfectant after use
- Team members have been instructed to sneeze/cough in their elbows, we request you do the same
- Testers perfume have been removed
- Magazines have been removed
- Card machine is being disinfected regularly
- Hand sanitizers have been placed at the reception, kindly make use of these

We have a weekly staff meeting where we address and discuss all current matters, and will increase this if necessary.

We will continue to follow the news, including the websites of CDC, SANHD, etc, to ensure Moroccan Barber Sonpark follows all precautions.
