Eyeliner Tattoo Healing Journey

Just wanted to share a little update on my eyeliner tattoo healing process!

I’ve officially completed my first few days, and so far, here’s what it’s been like:

Day 1: Right after getting it done, my eyes were a little puffy and red, but nothing too crazy. The ink looks bold, but it’s expected to fade over time.

Day 2: The area around my eyes feels a bit tender.

Day 3-4: There’s some light flaking. This is normal! It’s just the skin healing and peeling off.

Day 5-10: Ghosting phase begins, where the pigment is very light and settling in the skin.

Day 11-28: Healing is going well! The eyeliner is starting to look more natural as the scabs fall off. I’ve been keeping my eyes moisturized with the aftercare ointment. The eyeliner is settling in! The color has faded a bit, and it looks soft and well-defined. I'm LOVING how it’s shaping up.

Week 4: Time for touch-up.

Pro Tip: Don’t scratch or pick at the area! Let your skin heal at its own pace, and make sure to follow the aftercare instructions to get the best results.

So glad I took the plunge—can’t wait to see how it looks in the next few weeks!
