Remembering Fred - Scala Barber - Melville

Hi All

It has been a difficult few months and as you know some days are better than others. During the last couple of months a lot has happened. My route to work is driving past my Dad's shop which has been difficult but also exciting.

The EXCITING news is that a EXCELLENT Barber has moved into the shop. I am watching how this new journey is developing and I can't wait to see the end result.

The reason for my post is to ask you to pop around and support the new people. They are still busy with renovations but they are operating.

In today's day and age you unfortunately have to do both to keep the business running.

Please show your support. There is a little bit of Scala that they kept in the shop to Honour my Dad and his Legacy.

Their operating hours are:
Tues - Fri - 9am-6pm
Sat - Sun - 9am-4pm

So sad to see the end of a true legend. We as Fred's daughters saw it fit to end Scala Barber - Melville legacy on a high note. It is with great sadness that I have to let you know that the Legend of Melville has fallen. My Dad passed away in the early hours of this morning.

Hi there. This is Charntell, Fred's daughter. I just want to notify all of you that my Dad has been admitted to hospital. His health has deteriorated. Therefore the Shop will not be opening tomorrow. I will keep you posted on this page. Thanks for understanding and your on going support.
