Job Summary
The massage therapist works to provide clients a soothing spa experience. The ideal candidate is experienced, personable and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

Responsibilities
• Greet clients and provide a thorough consultation of individual needs
• Provide professional massage services such as deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone, sports and pre-natal
• Maintain a smooth flow of services for clients booked with multiple technicians
• Provide extra services, including foot soaks and refreshments
• Suggest retail products to clients
• Achieve service and retail sales goals
• Build lasting relationships with clients by contacting them to follow up on services, suggest new products and services, and invite them to upcoming events
• Consistently seek new product knowledge to drive sales and service
Qualifications
• Have a high school diploma, Matric or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive massage therapy required; previous spa experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and co-workers
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and co-workers
• Entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission environment
• Proven ability to set and achieve goals
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

MUST HAVE: Matric, qualified beauty therapist diploma ITEC/SAAHS/CIDESCO, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM ALL BEAUTY TREATMENTS from massage, facials, waxing, nails, lashes (gel, acrylic, tips, overlays, mani, pedi, gelish, nail art). Candidates must be computer literate, sales driven, able to work in team environment, well spoken, neat and presentable, organised, flexibility and a good, positive attitude and able to work on the weekend.
