Why I created Thrive & Flow?

Because I kept seeing the same thing over and over again.

Women who wanted to stay active during pregnancy — but felt unsure, scared, or completely lost when it came to exercise.

Many were told what NOT to do…
But very few were shown what they CAN do safely.

I saw moms struggling with pain, fatigue, and confusion about their core and pelvic floor. Some stopped exercising completely. Others pushed through discomfort because they didn’t know how to adjust.

And the truth is — it’s not their fault.

Pregnancy changes the body quickly, and most workouts simply aren’t designed to adapt to those changes.

That’s why I created Thrive & Flow.

To give moms clear, safe, pregnancy-specific guidance — so they can move with confidence instead of fear.

Because movement during pregnancy shouldn’t feel confusing.
It should feel supportive.

And every mom deserves access to safe exercise through pregnancy and postpartum.

Trimester One: Movement Matters — But So Does Listening To Your Body💛

The first trimester can feel like a rollercoaster — between the fatigue, nausea, and all the unknowns. But gentle movement during this time can do wonders for your energy, mood, and overall well-being.

That said, this is not the time to push through or ignore what your body is telling you. It’s about supporting and not stressing your body as it adapts.

Here are a few essentials to guide your workouts in Trimester One:

💧 Stay cool + hydrated to avoid overheating
🧘‍♀️ Skip high-impact and fast transitions between positions
📆 Keep a regular, moderate-intensity routine
💪 Incorporate pelvic floor and core exercises
😴 Prioritise rest and recovery
🛏️ Lying on your back? It’s still safe early on unless advised otherwise

✨ Movement can be your anchor — but your body leads the way. Some days it’s a walk, other days it’s a nap. Both are valid.
