Permanent make up (PMU)
Permanent make-up , or more correctly micro pigment implantation is a process whereby hypo-allergenic pigments are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin by means of tiny sterile disposable needles, creating a beautiful natural shape, colour and texture. Hanli Smuts is utilizing the embroidery technique which is far more exact and less invasive than the rotary/ machin
e technique. Permanent make-up applied by a machine also tends to be much heavier and obvious in appearance, whereas the embroidery / hand technique is much more natural and subtle in appearance, yet effective to enhance the natural features. Procedures:
Eyebrow shading: eyebrows are naturally to light , thin or non-existent and can be beautifully enhanced with micro pigmentation
Microblading: this technique involves drawing individual hair strokes that are more natural looking. This procedure can be combined with eyebrow shading for a more 3D look. Eyeliner: defines and accentuates eyes. It makes lashes appear ticker and denser. Applying eyeliner effectively can be a tricky task especially to avoid smudging. Having it done by means of the PMU procedure you will always be guaranteed with perfect eyeliner and you don’t need to worry about smudging your make-up during the day. Permanent make-up after care:
