From September 1, 2025, the EU has officially banned TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide) — a common chemical in many gel nail products that’s been flagged as a reproductive toxicant.

Here’s what it means:
👉 No salons or suppliers in the EU can legally sell or use gels containing TPO after this date
👉 No grace period – leftover stock must be removed
